Humanity shares a complex web of interconnections between histories, people, places, and objects. We, like the Bowerbird, carefully collect and adorn our bower with our findings. My work links the beauty of collected possessions that entrap and cage under the illusion of selected possessions connecting to the ‘Black-Birding Trade’ of recent history.
